Rhinoplasty Before & After: Wide and Bulbous Nasal Appearance

Rhinoplasty #264

Our beautiful 42-year-old patient's photos compare before, and 6 months after we performed rhinoplasty surgery. She was self-conscious about the overly wide and bulbous appearance of her nose on front view. On profile, you can see that her bulky tip cartilages were causing supratip fullness. Additionally, she had chronic nasal obstruction from refractory turbinate hypertrophy. Goals of surgery were to provide narrowing in the upper middle and lower thirds of her nose, along with refinement of her profile. Her nasal obstruction was addressed by correcting her deviated nasal septum, and by reducing her inferior turbinates that were allergic, large and obstructing.

The upper and middle thirds of her nose were narrowed with osteotomies. Her tip narrowing was achieved by dividing her lower lateral cartilages, performing a cephalic trim, and by placing a columella strut graft.
You can see a narrower nasal appearance on front view, along with Improvement in her nasal profile appearance as well. This has resulted in a less distracting, better breathing, and more feminine nasal appearance. Are grateful that she has allowed us to post her photographs.

Patient Review:

“Dr. Joseph is amazing! Highly recommend. I have been wanting to have rhinoplasty for many years and have seen different surgeons for consultations. As soon as I met with Dr. Joseph I felt comfortable and safe that everything would turn out how I've hoped. I'm 6 months post op and love the results. My nose is less distracting and very natural. Through the whole process I felt heard and could contact him with any questions or concerns. So glad I found Dr. Joseph and his amazing team. If I ever want to do anything else cosmetic I will def see them again.”

Rhinoplasty Before & After: Wide Droopy Tip, Profile Hump Correction

Rhinoplasty #263

Our beautiful patient is seen one year following rhinoplasty surgery. She did not like how far her nose stuck out on profile, and she did not like her dorsal hump and her wide droopy tip appearance. Her after photos are one year after surgery, and you can see a natural looking and less distracting and more feminine nasal appearance.

Rhinoplasty Before & After: One Year After Male Rhinoplasty + Septoplasty

Rhinoplasty #263

Our handsome patient is seen one year after functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery. He had nasal obstruction from a deviated nasal septum and from narrowed internal nasal valves on both sides. He was also dissatisfied with the appearance of his nasal profile with his bump and tension lip deformity, and on the front view, he did not like his droopy tip.

The after photos are one year after surgery. His Airway was corrected with septoplasty and bilateral spreader grafts to open up his internal nasal valves. His tension lip deformity was caused by a prominent anterior nasal spine which was removed. His tip was rotated, and his dorsum was reduced. You can see a natural-looking, unoperated, and less distracting nasal appearance.

Rhinoplasty Before & After: Results 11 Years After Surgery

Rhinoplasty #262

Our gorgeous patient was kind enough to allow us to post her before and after rhinoplasty results, 11 years after her surgery. When she was 20 years old, she came to our office with both functional and cosmetic concerns. She had a deviated nasal septum and also she was dissatisfied with the large appearance of her nose. It was gratifying to see that the technique taught to me during my AAFPRS fellowship training 24 years ago has stood the test of time. In her particular case, we utilized an extended shield graft and a columella strut graft to achieve a natural looking nasal tip appearance. You can also see a less distracting and more feminine nasal appearance that is natural looking.

Rhinoplasty Before & After: Corrected a Deviated Septum & an Over-Projected Nasal Appearance

Rhinoplasty #261

Our 28 year old beautiful patient is seen 1 year after functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery. She was bothered by a distracting and over-projected nasal appearance. Additionally, she had a deviated nasal septum to the left and narrowing of her internal nasal valves on both sides. On profile, you can see a textbook 'tension lip deformity.' The functional portion of her surgery included septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and spreader grafts to enlarge her internal nasal valves. You can see a narrower and less distracting nasal appearance. She's also breathing much better. Additionally, we performed a single permanent lip augmentation treatment with microdroplet Silikon-1000. Can also see natural looking and permanent lip augmentation in her after photos.
