Rhinoplasty Before & After: Recovery 12 Months After Dorsal Hump Removal

Rhinoplasty #252

Our beautiful 25-year-old patient is seen 12 months after rhinoplasty surgery performed in our practice. Before surgery, she did not like her nasal profile appearance with her dorsal hump and hanging columella, and "tensionlip deformity". On front view, she did not like the with her tip and the flaring of her nostrils. In her after photos, you can see a natural looking nasal appearance and a much less distracting nose. Her dorsal hump was removed, her nose was shortened, and her anterior nasal spine was resected. We placed spreader grafts on both sides for straight bridge lines. On front view, you can see natural looking narrowing of her nasal tip and nostrils. Since she has relatively thin nasal skin, she is ahead of the curve insofar as nasal swelling. There are no stigmata of previous nasal surgery.

Rhinoplasty Before & After: Alleviating Chronic Nasal Obstruction

Rhinoplasty #251

Our beautiful 31 year old patient is seen 5 months after functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery. She had chronic nasal obstruction from her deviated nasal septum and enlarged turbinates. She also didn't like how the lower third of her nose was so wide on front view, and she felt her nose stuck out too far on profile. To improve her airway, we corrected her deviated septum, reduced her turbinates, and placed spreader grafts on both sides to enlarge her internal nasal valves. We narrowed her tip and nostrils, and we deprojected her nasal profile for a less distracting, more feminine, and better breathing nose.

Rhinoplasty Before & After: Improved Breathing with Tip Narrowing & Lift

Rhinoplasty #250

Our beautiful patient is seen one year after functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery. She has never been able to breathe well, and her chronic nasal obstruction was due to a deviated nasal septum, turbinate enlargement, and congenital weakness of her external nasal valves. Goals of surgery were improved nasal breathing along with tip narrowing, tip lifting, and hump removal on profile for a less distracting and more feminine nasal appearance. Her airway was improved with septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and lateral crural extension grafts to prevent her external nasal valves from collapsing. These cartilage graphs were repurposed from her nasal septal cartilage. One year after surgery, you can see a natural looking, narrow and more feminine nasal appearance without stigmata of previous surgery.

Rhinoplasty Before & After: Droopy tip, Profile Bump Correction

Rhinoplasty #248

Our 45 year old patient is seen 1 year after rhinoplasty in our practice. You can see that she has thick nasal skin and a wide droopy tip, and a profile bump. To achieve tip definition with her thick skin, we used an extender shield graft and a columellar strut graft. She is breathing better, and we are thrilled with her natural looking, and less distracting nasal appearance.

Rhinoplasty Before & After: Results 3 Months After Surgery

Rhinoplasty #247

She had breathing difficulties from a deviated nasal septum and enlarged turbinates. She did not like her profile appearance with a visible hump and droopy nasal tip. Additionally she did not like the width of her nose on front view. You can see a less distracting and more feminine nasal appearance without Stigmata of surgery. And she is breathing very well.
