Rhinoplasty Before & After: Improved Breathing with Tip Narrowing & Lift

Rhinoplasty #250

Our beautiful patient is seen one year after functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery. She has never been able to breathe well, and her chronic nasal obstruction was due to a deviated nasal septum, turbinate enlargement, and congenital weakness of her external nasal valves. Goals of surgery were improved nasal breathing along with tip narrowing, tip lifting, and hump removal on profile for a less distracting and more feminine nasal appearance. Her airway was improved with septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and lateral crural extension grafts to prevent her external nasal valves from collapsing. These cartilage graphs were repurposed from her nasal septal cartilage. One year after surgery, you can see a natural looking, narrow and more feminine nasal appearance without stigmata of previous surgery.
