Our handsome patient is seen 8 years following two acne-scar treatments with microdroplet Silikon-1000. This is an excellent example of the precision, permanence, and safety of medical-grade, liquid injectable silicone. It also demonstrates that Silikon-1000 does not migrate with time. Permanent acne scar correction with Silikon-1000 is especially useful for people with darker skin types, like our patient. People with darker skin types are not good candidates for "resurfacing procedures" like laser treatments, dermabrasion, or deep chemical peels, since darker skin types are more prone to problems like hyperpigmentation. Silikon-1000 treatments are painless with topical anesthetic and there is no downtime.

Our 38 year old patient was bothered by the dark scar at the root of her nose. We filled it twice with microdroplet Silikon-1000, and she has been diligent using our bleaching cream, and SPF. You can see a smoother, and less indented scar with improved hyperpigmentation. For many people with depressed scars, microdroplet silikon-1000 may be a wonderful alternative to temporary fillers or other more invasive procedures.
