Revision Rhinoplasty

Revision Rhinoplasty Before & After: Straightened Nasal Appearance

Revision Rhinoplasty #15

Our beautiful patient had cosmetic and functional concerns after having rhinoplasty surgery performed elsewhere. She disliked her crooked nasal appearance and she had difficulty breathing through her nose on both sides. The base of her nose was crooked from a severely deviated nasal septum, and she had a collapse of her left upper lateral cartilage. The repair included septoplasty, tip reconstruction, and left spreader grafting to restore her nasal function and aesthetics.

Revision Rhinoplasty Before & After: Septoplasty and Dorsal Lowering

Revision Rhinoplasty #14

Our lovely patient consulted us after having rhinoplasty surgery performed elsewhere. She had both functional and cosmetic concerns. She had a near-total nasal blockage from a collapsed left internal nasal valve and from a severely deviated nasal septum to the left. She had a classic “poly beak deformity” since her lower dorsal septum was left too high, and she had nasal tip asymmetries from asymmetrical resection of cartilage. The base of her nose was crooked from her deviated nasal septum. Her revision rhinoplasty included septoplasty, tip-plasty, dorsal lowering, osteotomies, and left spreader grafting.

Revision Rhinoplasty Before & After: Profile Hump and Tip Correction

Revision Rhinoplasty #13

Our beautiful patient had her primary rhinoplasty elsewhere and her principal concern was that her nose didn’t change the way she expected it to after surgery. She was dismayed to have a persistent profile hump and droopy nasal tip. During her revision rhinoplasty, she was noted to have nearly all of her lower lateral tip cartilages removed. Her surgery included tip reconstruction with bilateral lateral crural extension grafts, an extended shield tip graft, a left spreader graft, and osteotomies. Photos were taken one year after her revision.

Revision Rhinoplasty Before & After: Straightened Nasal Appearance

Revision Rhinoplasty #12

Our handsome patient was unhappy with his rhinoplasty results from another surgeon. He disliked his crooked nasal appearance, severely droopy nasal tip, bridge irregularities, which made breathing difficult. He underwent tip-plasty for rotation and symmetry, osteotomies, and right spreader grafting. Photos were taken one year after his revision rhinoplasty.

Revision Rhinoplasty Before & After: Smaller Nasal Appearance

Revision Rhinoplasty #11

Our patient was referred to us from a plastic surgeon colleague for evaluation. She was unhappy with her nostril asymmetry, bridge asymmetry, long appearance, and overprotected tip. She initially did not want further surgery and received two permanent non-surgical rhinoplastic treatments with microdroplet Silikon-1000. She also had permanent lip augmentation with Silikon-1000. She later decided that she wanted revision rhinoplasty for tip deprojection, nasal shortening, and a smaller nasal appearance. Microdroplet Silikon-1000 nasal injections neither interfere with nor preclude revision rhinoplasty surgery, when necessary. The after photos were taken four months after her revision surgery.
