Our beautiful 29-year-old patient visited us from out of state for chin augmentation surgery. She was dissatisfied with her profile appearance and felt that her nose was too large and her chin was too small. After photos are taken one year following chin implant surgery. We used an Implantech, Anatomical Chin, Size Medium. Surgery is performed with intravenous sedation and the procedure takes less than half hour. You can see an improved facial profile appearance, and it makes her nasal projection look less prominent. In that regard, she long no longer wishes to have a rhinoplasty surgery. On front view, you can also see an increase in height of her chin. These lovely results are a terrific example of the power of a chin implant to offset the appearance of an overprojected nasal appearance.
