Our handsome patient is seen one year following functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery. He did not like the bulbous appearance of his tip, and he also did not like his profile appearance which showed a large dorsal hump and droopiness of his tip with smiling. Additionally he had chronic nasal obstruction due to a severely deviated nasal septum, and refractory turbinate hypertrophy. We corrected his deviated nasal septum, and reduced his turbinates for a nasal Airway. You can see a narrower bridge and tip appearance on front view. On profile, you can see a less projected and less distracting masculine nasal appearance. To achieve his tip definition, we thinned his oily nasal tip skin, and we used an extended shield graft. We are grateful that he has allowed us to share his results.

Our handsome teenage patient is seen before and one year after functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty surgery. He had a severely deviated nasal septum that was causing severe nasal obstruction, and he was unhappy with his wide nasal appearance, dorsal hump, and droopy tip. He also had severely enlarged turbinates, likely due to allergies, which further contributed to his severe nasal obstruction. His surgery consisted of nasal narrowing, dorsal reduction, tip lifting, septoplasty, and turbinate reduction. The goals of male rhinoplasty surgery are to improve breathing while creating a less distracting and masculine nasal appearance. Our handsome 40 year old patient visited us with dissatisfaction in his profile appearance. He felt that his nose was too large, and his chin too small. The after photos were taken 12 months after rhinoplasty and chin implant surgery. We used an Anatomical Chin, size Large, and you can see improved chin projection on profile, and increased chin height on front view. His profile bump was removed for a straight, masculine, and natural looking appearance, and his nostrils were narrowed. Our handsome 33 year old gentleman is seen 6 months after rhinoplasty surgery. You can see that he started with a broad nasal appearance, a dorsal hump, and a droopy nasal tip. It is also important to note that he had thick, oily nasal skin. In order to achieve nasal tip definition and projection, we had to use an extended shield tip graft. Although he is only halfway through the healing process, you can see a narrower and more pleasing and less distracting nasal appearance, without stigmata of previous surgery.
