Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty #54
Our beautiful patient traveled from out of state to see us for our expertise in permanent non-surgical nose job treatments. She had undergone both a rhinoplasty and a revision rhinoplasty from a renowned and prolific rhinoplasty specialist, whom I greatly respect. Her outcome is a reminder that rhinoplasty is one of the most difficult facial plastic surgery procedures, and that no surgeon can guarantee results. After her second operation, she was left with a wide and crooked appearance and an underprojected tip, despite the surgeon's expertise with MTF profile sheets. She later went to another surgeon who reconstructed her nasal tip using her own rib cartilage; she states that the tip cartilage eventually resorbed.
In her before photos, you can see a flat tip appearance with numerous indentations caused by her tip skin folding in on itself due to a lack of underlying support. In her case, a fourth nasal surgery would have been not only challenging, but also filled with uncertainty. In her after photo, you can see a more natural looking tip with improved projection and the elimination of many of those indentations. This was achieved following a single treatment with microdroplet Silikon 1000 injections to replace lost volume.
Medical grade silicone oil has a 60 year history of precision, safety, and permanence when used properly in the nose. It is never associated with necrosis, embolus, stroke, blindness, biofilm, or infection. She may need another treatment, but we are all thrilled to help restore some normalcy to the appearance of her nose without the expense, uncertainty, or downtime of revision rhinoplasty.
